I'm a big believer in trying things out and seeing if they work. Measure the results carefully and then act accordingly. If you're going to do a sample 100 letters it might be nice to try it out both ways. Send 100 letters out with a more personalized letter that includes the company's name in the body and send out 100 letters without.
