I read this post over at the Writer’s Store and thought it was worth re-publishing. While it’s not necessarily anything new or novel it’s a great summation of screenwriting tips. While a lot of the information was stuff I knew, it’s great to read a short piece like this as a good refresher. Check it out if you get a chance.

I had jacquesnapier who I follow on Twitter recommend James Moran’s blog called the pen is mightier than the spork. Specifically he pointed me to this post: The Big Writing FAQ. While I think Moran over estimates the simplicity of getting an agent because he had an easy time finding one (he only sent out letters to two agents), I think his basic message is spot on: write, rewrite, and then write some more. If you haven’t read this post you should check it out.

I’ve also added this blog to my RSS reader so I can continue to read what Moran has to say through his blog. I highly recommend that you do this too, and not just with Moran’s blog but with all screen writing blogs that you find interesting.
