In this episode of the Selling Your Screenplay Podcast our host Ashley Scott Meyers talks with Writer/Director Erik Bork.
Our guest Erik Bork talks about Writing/Directing his new movie Elephant in the Room, a RomCom about an Anti-Trump woman who stumbles into a rocky relationship with a pro-Trump MAGA supporter.
Topics include the challenge of writing a script that has a balance of political views between conservative and liberal characters. Erik Bork talks about the choice to set this story in 2020 during the global Covid-19 Pandemic. He also talks about how Non-Profit organizations were a valuable source used to help finance the movie.
Erik Bork is a returning guest, he has been on before to talk about his writing guide book The Idea: The Seven Elements for a Viable Story for Screen, Stage or Fiction.
